Regional & City Airports (RCA) is celebrating after all three of its UK airports - Exeter, Bournemouth and Norwich - were ranked among the nation’s top six airports in the latest passenger satisfaction survey by consumer champion Which?

Each airport has been awarded the sought-after “Recommended Provider” status, recognising their strong performance for customer experience, with Exeter Airport ranked number one in the UK.

The Which? survey asked thousands of passengers to rate airports across categories including value for money, customer service, check-in, security, seating, facilities and overall experience.

RCA’s airports scored consistently highly in areas that matter most to travellers, such as short queues, efficient security, ease of access and friendly staff. Passengers made clear that convenience and service are what set them apart from larger UK hubs.

Exeter Airport achieved the highest overall score nationwide at 80%, with five-star ratings for customer service, check-in, bag drop, toilets and security. Travellers praised its “relaxed and stress-free” environment and straightforward passenger journey, noting that the airport offers an easy and welcoming start to their travels.

Bournemouth Airport scored 73%, placing it firmly in the top six. It performed strongly in check-in, bag drop and security, with passengers highlighting the airport’s friendly staff and ease of access. Bournemouth’s reputation for efficiency and a calm, convenient experience was clear in the results.

Norwich Airport earned a 72% customer score, with high ratings for customer service, check-in and security. Passengers commended its ease of use and shorter queues compared to larger airports, confirming its role as a trusted regional gateway.
